Kigali, Rwanda – In a bid to improve livelihoods and promote sustainable development, the Centre intervention et d’Action Communautaire (CIAC) has partnered with AGROPLAST, a leading manufacturer of eco-friendly agricultural and Environmental solutions. The collaboration aims to distribute energy-saving cook stoves to communities across Rwanda.
CIAC, a national non-governmental organization, has been at the forefront of initiatives that contribute to the socio-economic development of Rwandan communities. With a focus on efficient use of natural resources and environmentally friendly agriculture, CIAC has been working tirelessly to improve living conditions and promote sustainable practices.
The newly formed partnership with AGROPLAST is set to make a significant impact on the lives of the local population. Energy-saving cook stoves have been identified as a key solution for reducing deforestation and improving air quality in households. These stoves are designed to use less firewood while providing efficient cooking methods, ultimately saving energy and reducing harmful emissions.
The collaboration will see CIAC and AGROPLAST working together to distribute these cook stoves in all provinces of Rwanda. By providing access to clean and efficient cooking technology, the organizations hope to address issues such as indoor air pollution and the depletion of natural resources.
“We are thrilled to partner with AGROPLAST in this important initiative,” said Drocella, the President of CIAC. “Energy-saving cook stoves are not only environmentally friendly but also have a positive impact on the health and well-being of families. This partnership will enable us to reach more communities and make a real difference in their lives.”
AGROPLAST, known for its innovative solutions in the agricultural and Environment sector, is equally excited about the collaboration. “We believe that sustainable development starts at the grassroots level,” said Nduwayezu Leon, CEO of AGROPLAST. “By providing energy-saving cook stoves, we are not only conserving natural resources but also empowering communities to lead healthier and more sustainable lives.”
The distribution of the cook stoves will be accompanied by training sessions on their proper use and maintenance. CIAC and AGROPLAST will work closely with local communities to ensure that the benefits of this initiative are maximized.
As CIAC continues to fulfill its mission of improving livelihoods and promoting environmentally friendly practices, this partnership with AGROPLAST marks a significant step towards achieving sustainable development in Rwanda. By addressing the pressing issues of deforestation and indoor air pollution, the organizations hope to create a brighter and healthier future for all Rwandans.
